$40 per semester fee for Student Activities, billed with tuition. The SGA manages the "Recovery Room," and organizes student activities. An office has also been allocated to the SGA where it is able to provide electronic mail and travel-related services to the student body. chapter of AMSA seeks to promote medical education in the didactic and clinical fields to our members, help improve medical access to the Dominican community at large, and help unite medical students so we may have one voice to make a positive difference in the medical world. Our flagship event is the local health fair held twice a semester in a local town near the university. Students get the opportunity to perform and practice blood-glucose and cholesterol testing, blood pressure
monitoring, body-fat measurement and patient interview techniques on the residents of Dominica. Our chapter also provides unique opportunities to attend suturing clinics, hypertension seminars, Women’s Health and AIDS Project Dominica events, hospital clinics, and lectures on the post graduate FMG experience by Ross alumni.
